MIPs technology (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) is an additional brain protection system. It adds protection against rotational motion (or kinematics) transmitted to the brain from angled impacts to the head, which is how most riders fall.

10 ventilation slots allow for ample airflow and a removable headband lets you remove and wash or replace as needed. In addition the 6 point leather look harness keeps the helmet in place and gives a modern clean look.
