The Rhino VariLayer medium has all of the great features seen in the Rambo turnouts, but has a 1000D polypropylene outer that protects the inner waterproof membrane making it harder for the waterproofing to be damaged. Horseware is so confident in their Barrier Technology, they are now offering a 3 year guarantee for waterproofing on the Rhino rugs. VariLayer technology creates an exceptionally warm blanket without bulk by concentrating more insulation at the top of the blanket where heat is lost and thinning that insulation as it moves down the sides of the blanket where less heat loss occurs.
